Skateboarding weekend
This past weekend I skateboarded with Dern and some of our friends. They came to our house and helped me and gave me some pointers. Brian helped me learn how to get on my board without falling off. Dern helped me by directing me when I needed to put my heels back or forward to turn. Joel swept the street for rocks and also went home and got his skateboard for me to use because my wheels were meant for concrete pools and not street riding. They are pro wheels and I don't know how to work pro wheels as well as I know how to work fat boys. I really had fun and I really appreciate the boys helping me.

WOW! It really looks like you all are having so much fun. I almost learned to ride your Mom's scateboard that Papa's Aunt Charlotte gave her for Christmas, but I used the kitchen floor instead of going outside where anyone could see me make a fool of myself. All I succeeded in was knocking the front of the clothes dryer off & putting a little dent in it. Your Mom & Nini would lay down on their bellies & push themselves with their hands. They got to be pretty good at it. Once Nini fell off & landed on the floor furnace & burned her back & I had to take her to the Dr. They thought that I had burned her back & I almost got into trouble with the law until Ginger was able to convience them that she had done it & that I had nothing to do with it. Awesome! I'll have to bring my skateboard with me the next time I come up! You know, a TON of people ride their skateboards everywhere on campus instead of walking or riding bikes.
