Our day at the Harbor Fest

when we were walking home from dinner, the sun was setting behind us.

Today when mom and Dern went for their Sunday morning walk, they found out that the Harbor festival was going on. We drove down to check it out. There were a lot of cool things there, but most of it was really expensive. My mom and I both got matching red heart blown glass necklaces. We took a tour of the Coast Guard Cutter GEORGE COBB. The ship was big, 175 feet long. One of the coast guards said that there are only 25 crew members on board. We climbed to the top and I got to sit in the captains chair. We also saw where the crew eats, drinks and hang out.
There was a big screen tv showing the football game.

For lunch we stopped by one of the food booths where I got a smoothie and a hotdog. Mom and Dern wanted to get a tri tip sandwhich, but they were too expensive. We went to the Hoffbrau instead where we shared some onion rings and they shared a roast beef sandwhich.

We drove home and took a nap. We had a really nice time at the festival.

My mom and I walked to Taco's de Mexico for dinner later on. Dern had to go to work. The sunset was really nice on our way home. My mom tried to take a picture of it, but it didn't come out. We are really lucky to be able to see the sunset over the ocean every night.
We got home and started to work on my blog. I had a really nice Sunday.

Hi Dad,
Thanks for checking up on my blog. To answer you question, I would like to have a doll from your trip. It would also be nice if I could have a post card. Just send it to Planet cause we don't stop by Cayucos very often. Hope you have fun on your trip.
Love you,
cody
