My New Aquarium

Today we went out and bought some new fish because I got a new aquarium from Santa. I got two Guppys, a Tiger Barb, a Beta and a frog. The girl Guppy is going to have babies soon. We also got a live plant and sand gravel to go on the bottom.

After we got home from the pet store we got started right away making our aquarium livable. First mom washed out the rocks since they were a little dirty. Then I washed out my shell stones that Santa gave me in my stocking. We put all my friends in their bags into the aquarium to sit for 30 minutes to adjust to the water. Before all that we put my two goldfish into the new tank and put the old tank into the garage.

After 30 minutes we opened everybody up and put them into the aquarium. It only took a few seconds for my frog to go right down to a corner by some rocks. It stayed there a very long time. At first I got a little worried because when ever a fish would swim by, the frog would just stay there. It looked like it died but it didn't. I left it alone and went away and by the time I came back, the frog had moved over to the plant.

There is more good news. It seems that my frog made a friend. I thought he might have been missing his other frog friends but he made friends with my boy Guppy. I'm really glad and my frog looked much more happier.

I'd put a picture of my aquarium on here if I could, but my camera is out of batteries. I'll put some pictures of all my fish up here and I'll also take pictures of my Guppie's babies too as soon as I can.
