My Play Day

Today I played with my mom's work neighbor's daughter, Mikala. We played and we caught a lizard. We named it Ashley Simpson. We also played on the beach with our lizard. We ate lunch together and watched tv in her dad's office on his computer. We watched some of the movie The Corpse Bride. We walked to Farmer's Market. I had a really good day playing with Mikala. We decided that whenever we are there at the same time again we will play again.

The dogs wanted to be a part of my birthday too!

My 11th Birthday!

We started my birthday out this year by Connor calling and waking up mom to wish me a Happy Birthday. After I talked to Connor he gave the phone to Grammie and I talked to her. Then we decided to get up and go to one of our favorite restaurants, "Tacos de Mexico" for my breakfast. Mom and Dern took me to school and helped bring in my peanut butter cookies for my class. They kissed me good-bye and they left.

I passed out the cookies at snack recess. After lunch my friends sang Happy Birthday to me and gave me cards that they made. After school I went to the library where Dern came to pick me up. Usually Mom would pick me up but this time she didn't cause she was doing something at the house. She was setting up my birthday cake and my birthday table cloth.

For dinner we went to Dorn's. Dorn's is a really good place to eat. It was really fancy. We had a really good view of the bay. When we got to Dorn's there was a birthday balloon tied to a little purse with goodies in it on our table. It was from my Big Sister. For dinner I had a steak and fries.

When we got home we had cake and presents. My mom and Dern gave me a pancho. Nana and some other people called me too. All in all I had a good 11th birthday!
