Update Coming Soon!

Cody will be updating her blog soon! She's been very busy with back to school, Sucess Club on Monday,Wednesday and Thursday, Choir on Tues and Friday, 4-H just beginning, all that and being 12 has kept her on her toes. She and I were talking tonight about updating you all this weekend, so stay tuned, and keep reading. It means a great deal to her to see that you've been here and care enough to keep coming back.

Our Weekend

Last weekend we did some gardening. We potted a lot of flowers and planted a vegetable garden. We planted basil, celantro, three kinds of lettuce and there are some tomatoes growing all by themselves. We spread grass seed on our grass in the back yard.





After our day of gardening we were sitting on our patio outside. Dern let Gracie out of our cage. I was safe cause I was on the bench where she couldn't reach me, but she tried. First she was fine, but then when I came out I jumped on to the bench. She couldn't get up on the step that we have on our patio. She squacked cause she couldn't climb up to bite me. Then she figured out how to get up and ran over to get me but because of the bench she couldn't bite me. I pulled my feet up on the bench and watched her.

So, that was our weekend. I hope everybody is having a good start of the school year.

My Neighbor Mateo

Mateo is a 5 year old who lives next door to me. Alot of the time I babysit him when his dad has stuff to do or when ever his dad needs someone to look after him. Most of the time we skate board or ride bikes. Sometimes I take him for a walk in the Elfin Forest. I take him to "Grandma Lee's" house. She is one of our neighbors who lives across the street.
After school one day I rode my bike down to the market and got some marshmallows. Then I invited Mateo over to roast them.
I've been invited to the lake with him and his dad to go boating.
I've gone to the skate park with them. Mateo is a really good skater. He can do an Ollie 180 now!
He just started Kindergarten at my school. He's a really bright little five year old and he has fire red hair!
