My Spring Break

This year for Spring Break I went down to LA to visit my dad's side of the family. My brother came and got me and took me down to my grandma's house. His girlfriend was with us too and we stopped at her house for dinner. After dinner my brother and I went to my grandmas.

The next morning we slept in a lot! We got In and Out for lunch. We got a new video game and went to dinner with Aunt Ruth. When we got home, we stayed up and waited for our grandparents to get home from San Francisco. They were visiting my other Aunt.

The next day I had to go to work with my grandma cause my brother had to go to work and my grandpa had to go to the Y. I sat at her desk and played on her computer. After a while my grandpa came and we all went to lunch. We had to drop my grandma back at her work, then me and grandpa went home. I watched tv with him until my brother got home from his work with some cool new stuff for his fish tank. I hung out with him for a while. When my grandma got home from work we went to Dodger stadium to see a ball game. It was the Dodgers against the Cubs. We lost.

The next day my grandma and brother went to work. I stayed home by myself and played on the computer until my grampa came home. My grandma came and got us for lunch. For the rest of the day I hung out with my cousins. Then I met my dad and we went to his girlfriend's daughter's soft ball game. After the game we all went up to Big Bear.

We did a lot of stuff at Big Bear. We snow boarded and we played in the snow. We did a lot of other fun stuff.

Then I came home and that's what I did for my spring break.

Our New House

Now we live in a new house! We live about ten minutes away from our old house. Since we are still close by I go to the same school and play with my same friends. Next year I will go to a new school. The house is a two story and I have my own room and a play room. My room had to be painted like some others. Dern painted it pink for me. We are still working on getting everything settled in. In our back yard we have a pond. We've had one frog in it, but other than that no one lives in it yet. We have a Mullberry tree in our front yard and a frog lives in the planter. We live really close to a miniature forest called The Elfin Forest. It's 90 acres big and it has a boardwalk that is one mile around. I take my dog Cora for a walk there. We usually see a lot of birds, lizards, rabbits and wood rats. We also have to be careful of other people and dogs. All in all, I really like our new house.
