Bye Hooda

A few days ago we had to put down our bulldog "Charmin' Charlie". That was his show name, but most of the time we called him "Hooda". His hips went out and we didn't have any other choice. He was put down on Dec.13th. So from now on you pretty much won't be reading about him again, but you will still hear about our other dog "Cora". We hope she has many more years with us. It's gonna be a really hard Christmas cause he would go down to Ensenada with us and would like to play with his new toy that Santa would bring him. We may end up getting another dog in the future, but we're not really sure. It may end up being something like a poodle, something portable and small that has a long life span. If you have any ideas let me know, I'd like to hear your opinions. He will be missed very much in this family, even though when we get a new dog, he'll still be one of our favorites and we'll think about him alot. He'll always have his spot on the end of my bed, no matter how many dogs we have. Here's a picture of him from Christmas 2005. Hope you enjoy it.

Los Osos Christmas Parade

Today I was in the Los Osos Christmas Parade with my 4-H club. I got to walk one of the horses since my instructor had her hands full with two horses. One is 26 and the one I led is 2. We had a lot of fun and we walked to the Community Center where there was a fund raiser for the homeless shelter in San Luis Obispo. We collected money in coffee cans and donated it to the shelter. I helped bring in blankets and then went with one of my 4-H friends to deliver gingerbread houses to Casa de Flores, a retirement home. Here's some pictures, hope you enjoy them!

Horrible News.

I know I told everyone that we would be gone till after Thanksgiving. We got tragic news that my grandfather, Dern's dad passed away at his home. He died from a heart attack and the very next morning we beat feet from Ensenada from Bahia de Los Angeles. When we got to Ensenada and called our family and made plans for the funeral. We went out to dinner and hung out there in Ens. and had dinner with our friends at the Salon. The next day he headed for home. My mom called my brother and we decided that I would spend Thanksgiving with them so I wouldn't have to be around the funeral stuff for Thanksgiving.I just wanted to let you know why I haven't been writing for a long time cause we are busy being a family and we have to get this all over with.

My Christmas List

When I was down in LA, visiting my family for Thanksgiving, everybody asked me what was on my Christmas list, just like they do every year. To make it a little easier as I did last year, I'm just going to list a few things:
