Where I am From

I am from the roar of Baja 1000 and 500 race cars
Zooming past me and my family
I am from the address122D
Of my vacation house in
Ensenada.

I am from the blisters I get from fishing
All day and the smell of the BAR-BQ
Cooking the catch at the end of the day.

I am from my home in Los Osos
Were I live with my mom, step dad, and our pets.

I am from my pond in my back yard
That is right below the big
Oak tree.

I am from the big oak tree in my back yard
That I sit in to watch and listen to
All of the frogs sing their songs.

I am from my all my friends
Theresa, Keira, Margot, Josie,
Cheyann and Lynette.

I am from my mom and dad
Who love me.

My Fishes Birthmark

My goldfish has a special birthmark. As you can see it's heart shaped. Dern found it because we were looking at the new background that he bought for our fish tank. He showed it to us and what is weird is that fish started out as only black with a tiny bit or orange, and now he's totally white. That shows that gold fish change colors. My brother told me that they change colors depending on the kind of food you give them. We just thought it was interesting and that we'd share it with you.

My First Birthday Present

For my birthday our family friend Joel bought me some flowers. He said that they were an early birthday present, and that he would still try to come by on Thursday. I really appreciated Joel doing that. The flowers are Gerber daisies and they are really, really pretty and are now the dining room center piece.

I'm Horse Riding Again!

I've gone back to horse riding lessons with my trainer Richard Lambert who is a Cowboy. I am going every Wednesday after school. This last Wednesday he had a surprise for me. Instead of going on our normal trail ride, he let me play with the cattle. We had a lot of fun. We had to chase them on our horses around the arena and get them into a pen. We let them all out again and kept on practicing doing over. We did that for an hour. When our hour was up I untacked my horse and put him back in his pen. Then I went up the road to my 4-H leader's barn and helped her with her horses. I did that for another hour until my mom came to pick me up. I had a really fun time playing with the horses.

My Christmas Presents

A few of my favorite Christmas presents are a new Diamondback Mountain bike. It's pink with front shocks. It rides really nice. I also got a bike lock and a helmet with it, and a bell with a heart on it. That was from Santa. From my mom and Dern I got a video game and a Razor phone. I also got a bathrobe, some fuzzy slippers and new pink Ugg boots.

We were in Ensenada for Christmas and then went to Bahia for New Years. I hope you enjoy my pictures.
