Sorry that I haven't writen for a while, but we've been kinda busy.
Back in January I went on a field trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. We got up at 5:30 am. At 7:15 we met in the parking lot at school and rode a charter bus for 3 hours.
We signed in at the aquarium and met our tour guide that was with us every once and a while during the day. We watched the outer bay feeding. The outer bay feeding is fish like hammer head sharks, sunfish and tuna. When they eat it was really, really cool and fun to watch cause we got to get really close.
Our tour guide talked to us about a fish called a Sheepshead. They are black and red and look kinda goofy like a Parrot fish. Through out our day we saw a few more exhibits and saw star fish, penguin feeding, the kelp forest feeding which was really cool.
I do see all of this in Mexico, but I didn't care because it was a lot of fun and I learned a lot even though I am a Baja Girl and know about the fish.
It was a perfect day except for one of the girls in my class was being a brat the whole time.
